Hello, My name is Annie. I'm a 29 year old mother of 2 little boys with a wonderful husband too.

I hadn't had any issues until the beginning of July when we were at our family's cabin. There was a huge wind storm that knocked down most all of the trees. In the process of running for safety, I was hit by a falling tree. I was brought to the hospital because they weren't sure if anything was broken. I don't remember any of it so they checked out my head too.

I ended up with only bruises on my back but they found a lesion and some dots on my brain. I was sent to the neurologist. After a spinal tap and lots of blood tests, I am diagnosed with a demeylinating disease. From what I understand, it's basically the start of MS without officially being MS. I go in a few weeks to talk about where to go from here. The doctor wants me to start a MS medicine but I'm not sure which one.

It's a lot to process. Every time any little thing happens I question if it's my brain or if it's normal. I worry that something will happen while I'm taking care of my babies. The unknown is the hardest part. I'm glad to have found this forum to be able to find out more from actual people going through similar experiences.
