S'up party people... my name is Sara. I'm 29, living in Orange County, CA. Have been diagnosed since 2002, at the age of 19... so I'm coming up on my 10th MS b'day this October yaaay. :P

My MS seems to be at a changing point right now... I've had two flares in the past year, whereas before I had *maybe* one per year, very very mild RRMS. With this latest flare I have two brand new lesions, and have had some numbness/tingling into my torso/extremities that makes me wonder what course my MS will take from here on out. Trying to go Whale Watching on Saturday on a tossy boat with numb feet/ankles sore from steroids was... an adventure. Doing a lot of thinking right now, I guess.

Have had a hard time with depression & just seemed to get that under control when this flare hit... friends and family are being as supportive as possible but I find myself lacking in the "someone to talk to who really knows what it's like" department.

If anybody wants to talk please hit me up... would like to know how it went for you... would like to talk to someone about the changes my body is going through & how to deal with it... it's overwhelming.

Now back to combating the 'roid rage so I can work... hulk smash...

Take care,
Sara

Roid Rage is not fun, but at least it goes away!

Are on any medications? Are you following a good MS diet and taking the often recommended MS supplements (Vit D, Zn, Mg, malic acid, etc.) While still young, do all you can to keep this monster in check!

I hope you start feeling better soon, but now is the time to start watching what you eat and to get the supplements you need.
