Hi all!
I've been coming here on and off for the past 3 years ever since my dx. Thanks to this site I have been using copious amounts of vitamin d3 and have managed to stave off most debilitating symptoms and major relapses, even though I live in the Persian/Arab Gulf where the weather and diet are very MS unfriendly.
Two weeks ago I was hit with what I would consider a major setback. Playing guitar is my main and only hobby and the only thing that keeps me positive/sane. Well, my left/fretting hand is near useless, wrecking 12 years I've invested into the instrument. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I could do. I am loathe to go to the neuro and although I feel this relapse has largely subsided my symptoms keep getting worse every day. I've since propped up my bed on an incline which has greatly helped the pins and needles and numbness in my feet but has done nothing for my arms, hands and fingers. Maybe I should just be more patient. I've added all supplementation I could find on here to my daily supplement doping but I haven't seen any positive results come of it, and I've been taking them over a week. if anyone has experience with muscle atrophy, loss of sensation/control and weakness in the hand and fingers, I would appreciate your input regarding what I could do. I still try to play but it brings me down to be so inept and imprecise, I do use a hand exercise tool but it hasn't helped.
Thank you in advance!
