Hello, I am new to this forum. Thankful to Connie for letting me know about it. I am diagnosed with PPMS but a recent exacerbation this year has the docs confused and they may change it to PRMS..in any case I just started LDN and I am having some problems adjusting to it. I feel like I have so little time during the day to explore here because I feel guilty if the little energy I have is not spent helping my family with the little I can do but I have been up since three a.m. and so I figure it is a good time to say hello. Good Morning! Hope today is a good one. I will make the best of it despite the lack of sleep.
Anyone have heart palpitations on LDN?

I am starting on LDN this week, hopefully it arrives from Skip's soon! When speaking my the dr about it, he made it pretty clear that it may take up to 2 weeks to adjust to the mg you feel comfortable taking. I am starting on 1.5 for 3 weeks, then 3mg for 3 weeks, then 4.5mg for 3 weeks and see what my body thinks at each dose. What dose are you currently taking? and were you the given information referenced above?

Since my diagnosis, I have denied all medical MS treatment and fought through the constant mid afternoon fatigue. It was stuff and still is tough to battle it, even with a 4 and 1 year one running around. Ibelieve without a doubt my body is adjusting daily/weekly to become less fatigued or maybe feeling like I do not need to lay down and nap.

Hope it gets better for you and that LDN works for both of us.

I started LDN 10 days ago. I'm currently on 1.5mg, not having any side-affects yet.
Since my diagnoses, I've been put on betaferon, then copaxone. All they did was heighten my symptoms, especially the fatigue. Had enough of the conventional meds. Now am on David Wheldons ABX protocol, going very slow on that.

My wife Renee writes on this for me.

I just went to my PCP to get on this protocol, but he has it is not well founded. So i left him the 7 page printout and told him I'll see him in 2 weeks to rediscuss. Sorry for the late response, I never received an email stating someone posted on this thread. Good luck to you!!! I am on 4 months and bumping up to 4.5mg. On 3 my fatigue and diziniess faded rather quickly but prescribing doctor think if I bump up, numbness may go away. I had insomnia for 2 days during the first week at 3mg.
