This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Knowledge & Support Community

Hey everyone:
I thought I look into getting involved with the MS community both virtually and physically after 15 years with MS (dx at age 15 and now 30). I assume this site is a good virtual resource, but It would be great if someone could please tell me how I can get in touch with the MS community in my area. I'm not sure how that would help, but I figure it doesn't hurt. I guess I never wanted to get in touch with the community because of denial, which has taken a good 15 years. Thanks in advance!

hi and welcome.. you should be able to search for your local ms society office from whichever national ms society site might be relevant. yoiur doc should also be able to help put you in touch with the right connections locally. good luck!

Welcome. And i think Jimmylegs is spot on with your doc knowing who would be a good start. You have forgotten to tell us which country you are from, so someone in your exact location wouldn't be able to point you in the right direction.
