Hi everybody!!

I'm hoping I can find some guidance here. I myself do not have MS, but I have recently met a man I really like who does have it. Since this is completely new ground for me, and because I really like and care for this person, I want to give him all the support and help I can. I also need to get information on how this disease affects people and to learn how I can help support him. He has the recurring remission type and just recently had a serious attack and wound up in hospital(before i met him). He is on Copaxone and seems to be seeing alot of good results from it. I see alot of topics and discussions on here that I am interested in, and mostly for this first post wanted to introduce myself. I am from Edmonton Alberta Canada.

:-D

hey there! welcome to TiMS. I think one of our new members definitely needs to read your post, for reassurance that there are individuals like you in the world who will see past a diagnosis to a person they care about. enjoy reading up, and if you have questions feel free to ask :)

Lol, thank you.

I knew about it before I met him, and didn't bat an eye. And I'm glad I did. He is the sweetest man. He's been through an awful lot, and still has an upbeat, positive outlook for the most part. He's kind, and attentive, and cute and funny and sexy. The MS is just a bit of a hiccup in this for me....nothing that can't be dealt with.
