Hello All,

I just thought I would sign up here because I may need some advice here and there. My name is Ashley and I am a 26 year old female from Colorado. For the past four months, life has been pretty different for me, and I have spent a lot of time in the ER as well as doctor's visits, with no diagnosis yet. Four months ago, What started out with blood pressure drops, dizziness, fainting, and headaches has now turned into bladder incontinence, uncontrollable shaking, horrible headaches, sleep deprivation, loss of vision, and sickness to the heat. My biggest issue has been fainting, along with uncontrollable shaking, it is definitley effecting my quality of life. For the first few months, the doctor's were pushing it off as anxiety and vasovagal syncope-which is a malfunction of a nerve that regulates how open or closed your veins are supposed to be. Now with the newer symptoms, they are going to be giving me my first brain MRI and have not ruled out MS. I was just wondering, did anyone else go though these type of symptoms before diagnosis?

Thank you all and it's nice to meet you.

Hi Ashley! Well as you probably already know, everybody who has MS experiences it differently. I'm pretty young myself and can definitely relate to the horrible headaches. For me, they are cluster headaches that feels like a burning pulsating nerve right behind my right eye. It is 45 minutes of pure torture. Before my dx last year on Halloween, I was going through a lot of muscle stiffness, cramps and numbness, all basically in my lower body area.

The best advice I could give you, and yeah I know it's easier said than done, but don't worry about things until the results of whatever tests you are doing come back. Let the doctors figure it out and in the meantime, stay strong and stress free! Hope that helped.

Your health is the result of what you put in it. Doesn't matter what you have. The only way to heal is with diet. Let Dr. Bergman explain it.
