Hey guys!
I'm Sheila...i'm an artist, and i'm in nursing school right now (1 year to go YEAH!!!) "^_^" i was Dx with RRMS when i was 18...i'm 22 now. I've been lucky so far, cuz i've only had one relapse, the inital one that got me diagnosed (the left half of my body went numb for a couple weeks) As of yet, i haven't had any more relapses, just the usual feeling tired all the time. I was on Betaseron until about a month ago, and although it did it's job (no relapses!!) it was ABSOLUTE HELL to be on...i went for about 4 years feeling like my head was full of cotton, and being depressed and sick and nauseaus and tired all the time. I tried all sorts of stuff to counteract teh Betaseron side effects but nothing really worked.
Soooo...now I'm on copaxone, and lovin it so far!! just hope i don't get that pesky lipoatrophy.. ;o)
