I dont remember if I made a intro. on this site or not, I went on a wild information surge a while back to try and understand my diagnose

I have an inconclusive MRI scan of the brain adn a long lesion on the spine. -sighs-

I took aikido for 6+ years, I have fallen on my head more time than I can count, and during my Black Belt test I took a wooden knife to the head. I have teh scar to prove it.( my neuro ignored me when dicussing this, both of them, how nice) I went from 5-6 days a week, 2-3 hours a night workign out and instructing, and I decide to quit cause of some conflict with the other instructors, and now 6 months later I get this, seems fishy to me.

I am currently on Betaseron, and im serious suspicious that neuro are just looking to be lazy (seen two. one thinks the lesion is to long to be MS, yet doesnt have a better explaination for it, and the other has condemned me and thinks i should never exercise again and that i need to quit all my jobs cause I have RRMS)

I am a very positive person over all, I dont like the idea my body has turned against me. And so I am just awaiting someone to tell me there is a cure, which my reading of this site and others tell that it is very close to a possiblity very soon.

I used to do Karate, and have also fallen on my head and been punched hard a few times (might explain some of my strange attitudes). I have also fallen from motorbikes and ladders and down stairs. These latter probably caused by early MS and not the other way around.

MS changes the personality too, and fatigue makes me bad-tempered, I know. So maybe it is MS's fault you quarrelled with your mates. If you want to make up with them again, then you can tell them that.

You carry on exercising as much as you like, it keeps your muscles toned. You could start an Aikido group for people who can't stand on one leg ... I would join.

Don't blame your poor body, it's doing its best. There are lots of busy scientists out there beavering away at a cure, they will find it one day. Meanwhile I award you a large portion of chocolate cake just for being a nice person.
