Hi everyone! This is absolutly the best forum out there for people with MS and their families. Thank you so much for all you do with the moderation and all the extremely intelligent MS material/research. I am 30 years old and was diagnosed with MS 3 years ago. Thankfully my symptoms are very mild and the only reason I was diagnosed was because I work in the medical field as an audiologist (hearing and balance) and knew that my dizziness was not peripheral but was central in nature. I had my self tested and insisted on an MRI. I am true believer that we are our own best advocates and doctors can help guide us to make good decisions. I believe it is very important to find a doctor that will work with you rather than tell you want to do. I have since had a baby (he is 15 months old now) and have recently been having some flair ups of symptoms. I couldn't have found this forum at a better time. You are all so wonderful and I feel as though I already know all of you. You all provide such great support for one another.

I was actually told about this site by a friend of my mothers who actually konw Cheer and Jeff. I haven't had a chance to email her yet and tell her...thats my next step. I am so thankfull that she gave the info to me.

I look forward to contributing what I can medically and giving support to those that need it.

Thank you all again for all your hard work and dedication to this site.

Welcome, Javaneen!
Glad you found us here. Congrats on your baby, fifteen months is a fun age! Hope your flare ups haven't been too tough. You're so right about finding doctors to work with you and being your own advocate. I'm sure you'll have lots of insight to share with us, as a medical professional-
best,
