starting a regimen...help wanted

Hello Everyone,
I'm newly registered, but have been following this forum for quite a while now. Although things have been not so great, they have gone to very bad lately, due to a recent move and switch in jobs...rather a disaster in the eyes of my husband (who is the one with MS). We only just got back on line after a month (!) without it, at a time we needed it most.
The situation now is, my husband has been depressed now for the last month...it isn't going away...he falls asleep, but wakes up in the early hours and can't sleep...he dwells constantly on the situation, which he thinks is hopeless, although it isn't really. All this has not helped his symptoms, so he is extra tired and his legs are weak and side tight.
He would like to start the AB protocol, but we don't know how to (we are in France, by the way). I also think he needs an anti-depressant, which he has said he needs and at other times doesn't want. I don't know what to do....

There are two protocols most people are mainly using that I know of. You will need to find a doctor who is willing to prescribe the antibiotics.

1. The Wheldon Protocol

http://www.davidwheldon.co.uk/ms-treatment.html

2. the Vanderbuilt protocol

CPn Help/?q=node/6

Hope this helps, someone else may have a summary version of the protocols.

Have you thought about trying the dietary regimens - any one is easy to start and you could do it together. Lots of posts here but check out the bestbetdiet web site too.

I like to think that diet and exercise are the things in my life that I can change; these are the things that I can control.

Rosalind Joffe's site http://www.commongoals.com I find encouraging when I'm feeling a bit low - I have her "7 habits for Regaining Power in the Workplace with Chronic Illness" pinned prominently to my desk.

Good luck!

Thanks for the responses.
John, I should have said, but we do follow the BBD already.
I'll try to get a copy of the list you mentioned...Thanks!

Welcome to the board!!

ditto w/ cureorbust, those two links are what most folks are on. Either one is good.

If you need to order the antibotics you can order them thru the following web site no matter where you live. http://www.drugdelivery.ca/

Any questions that you may have, just post them and you'll get the answers.

I just started Dr. Wheldon's/Sarah's protocol on August 17th and have started to see some changes in the right direction for once.

Welcome again and good luck on which ever protocol that you chose.

Roy

Hello whyRwehere,

Well, there is tons of information here already, but you are more than welcome to write to David, whose address you can find near the bottom of the first of his pages. Since he is on annual leave this week, you could write to me - click on the email button at the bottom of this posting. I will then forward any questions to him!
