I've been on for almost a week. Thought I was getting an energy boost at first, but now I'm not so sure. Became interested when those close to me felt an energy boost when using and read that NO is a vasodilator. Comments please.

Hi PointsNorth,

Some people have problem with NO and would like to go the opposite way to this approach. I'm agnostic about NO because I accept we need it. I've long worked on the assumption that the interaction of Nitric Oxide and Superoxide causes us a lot of problems. I follow the line that the Superoxide given off by EBV infected B cells when it interacts with naturally occuring Nitric Oxide causes a quite damaging formation of peroxynitrite. Because peroxynitrite has a very short life it keeps breaking down and reforming so it ends up expanding exponentially. This is not good for us! I don't know if adding Nitric Oxide excites this process but the Superoxide certainly does.
If you are going to follow this approach I would be trying to attack the EBV by using Acyclovir and any other anti EBV agent you can find. Left untreated, the viral load increases each time you make a new B cell. I have diarised my experiences on this board under the heading "Avonex and Valtrex" which lists some suggestions you could try.
I'm a bit concerned you are playing with matches in a haystack.

Regards
