hi bubba just the other day i put some of those resources in my signature and the one dave posted is on the list, it's good in the supplement department.
the most important things in my opinion are getting rid of processed foods, keeping yourself hydrated, and supplementing with basic vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids.
here's a short supplement shopping list to get you started:
-a quality daily multivitamin/multimineral
-b50 complex (take one or two per day)
-d3 (you need to figure out what level you're at before you can decide - aim for 100nmol/L minimum - but 4000IU per day is the latest research finding for daily maintenance in those who are not exposed to sun at sufficient energy levels, for whatever reason)
-calcium
-magnesium (citrate is a soluble form and that's what you want - take some with the d3 and calcium, and some away)
-zinc (get it tested. normal range 11.5-18.5, optimal 18).
-omega 3 fatty acids, 2g per day
-vit c 2g C per day
-vit E at least 400IU per day. (in 2006 when i had no position sense in my hands i did a protocol with lots of b vitamins and E - the E was 800IU every meal and bedtime. position sense was back in 3days - at first i attributed the benefits mostly to the b vitamins because of my prior b12 issues, but now i am starting to give more credit to the E)
i hope that looks less intimidating than some of the shop talk going on in here
you can ask more questions of any of us, esp. cheer and DIM, either in the boards or via private message.
cheers!
