The adipose derived stem cell treatments in the USA are same day, stromal vascular fraction, that yield only up to 50 million mesenchymal stem cells, the most healing cells for repair. This may help with less severe conditions, but for neurodegenerative conditions like MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, a higher dose is required.

This can only be achieved with lab cultured mesenchymal stem cells, expanded to a high dose, at least 100 million MSCs.

Expanded cells are being used in clinicial trials in the USA for MS at Cleveland Clinic and Tisch in NY

If you can't wait several years for trials and FDA approval, you can go to India (bone marrow derived MSCs) or Cancun (adipose derived MSCs) for expanded cells. Do your homework, find other patients who have done it.

If you read all the negative articles I have collected and posted about SCI and Celltex, that constitutes doing my home work!

All of us in the http://www.patientsforstemcells.org group are working for access to high dose stem cell therapy in the USA. We have been to different clinics, we go out of our way to avoid saying "my clinic is the best". We all know how destructive that game was to the CCSVI effort!
So I can only talk about Celltex because I went there, and had tremendous recovery from SPMS. But I support every patient's decision, and I strive to provide education so you can make the best choice. Here is a report my group did to debunk the scare stories that opponents of stem cell therapy like to put out there.
How Safe Are Stem Cells http://www.patientsforstemcells.org/edu ... tem-cells/

This report outlines the special interests that oppose adult stem cells, like academics looking for patent royalties from embryonic stem cells. This is the opposition need to spend my time battling, not other patients.

Cleremond asked for info on SCI and Panama. Just doing my best to provide accurate info if I can. Everything is virtual for all to see! Most patients suffering from MS have very limited access to money and with an uncertain future need to choose where to spend that money wisely. Unfortunately because of the potential benefits from stem cell treatments a whole medical tourist industry of clinics as emerged. With this emergence comes the emergence of paid patient advocates as well as unscrupulous practitioners willing to take advantage of patients desperate for relief. Credentials mean nothing where money is concerned.
