Wow...I had to smile when I saw you posted this news video. Especially when I saw Dr. Chap Pfefer. He received the HSCT treatment from Dr. Burt in Chicago.

"Then Gina( his mother) met Dr. Chad Pfefer, himself an MS survivor.
He introduced the Tiels to a process called hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, a technique developed by a doctor at Northwestern University."

You said this to me last October (as I lay in my hospital bed, at Northwestern going through this treatment):

"Good luck really really. But in my opinion chemotherapy treatments are for cancer....."

So now you believe? Or, did not know they were speaking of HSCT, with Dr. Burt, at Northwestern?

As in Dr. Burt's study at Northwestern, the mortality rate is low or non-existent (which it is), then he is not using a clinical dose of chemo because statistically about 10% of patients will die. If he is not using a clinical dose of chemo, why is he saying the eradication of bone marrow 'reboots' the immune system? He`s not eradicating the bone marrow. And he is also cherry-picking his study subjects. Does he think nobody will notice? This is just the wrong treatment for MS and always will be.

Merely posting informative MS articles, some patients claim benefits. Even if for some they are only short lived.
