IF it can be shown that CCSVI is the cause of a patient's MS, and the CCSVI can be successfully treated, then the stem cells can be used to reverse existing damage without the need to start the process by destroying the patient's existing immune system.

Hi All,

I am fairly new to this site forum and was interested in knowing has anyone reading this tread had adult stem cells by going to other countiries? If so what were the benefits so far from the treatment?

Not sure how to ask this question -

If CCSVI proves to be the cause of MS or MS causes CCSVI for example?

Then how would adult stemcells work to help patients to get rid of some of their MS symptoms if there is CCSVI involved ?
Would the adult stemcells perhaps expand the narrowed jugular veins??
I hope my question makes sense to someone reading.
Because I think I have totally confused my self :?

I think CCSVI and stem cells would possibly be 'fixing' different parts of the problem.
A CCSVI procedure unblocks an obstructed vein. The obstruction causes problems in the brain and spinal column because of iron leakage, which promotes nerve damage.
Stem cells would theoretically help repair the damage already done.
