Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Cannabis extracts and several cannabinoids have been shown to exert broad anti-inflammatory activities in experimental models of inflammatory CNS degenerative diseases. Clinical use of many cannabinoids is limited by their psychotropic effects. However, phytocannabinoids like cannabidiol (CBD), devoid of psychoactive activity, are, potentially, safe and effective alternatives for alleviating neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration.... It's a wonder we have any mice left.
They truly must be an unlucky species.

Squiffy, You are correct in pointing that out. They have a whole plant extract (not marinol which is chemical) that has been released for treatment in other countries. Look up "Sativex". I am in the U.S. so can not get this (it is legal through most of Europe and Canada as a prescription medication). Your regular doctor, if they allow it here can write for it on a regular prescription. I use a tincture that is mostly cannabinoids. It goes in water, hot drinks or under your tongue- about 3 ML per day. It works without the undesired side effects; aka feeling high. There is none of that. However it did get me off the walker I was planning to call my permanent buddy. I dont have daily spasms and siezures with this. I can WALK. Some of you may know that feeling. I can't wait until Sativex is approved in the USA. Why are we always the last? :(
