Hi!

Because urine infections/UTIs or bladder problems are common, and because it seems to be a general thing, I think it is important that this is known by everyone.

An antibiotic is usually prescribed to kill the bacteria, unfortunately it kills the good bacteria in the gut, which we need to keep our gut healthy, and to stop nasty things taking over, like fungus growth, Anecdote on antibiotic board knows all this thank goodness and spreads the word on there.

It is important whilst on Antibiotics that you take the supplement Acidophilus which is a pro-biotic as this replaces the good bacteria. pro-biotic drinks aren't strong enough but ask your nearest health food shop they should be able to help you.

My father is a retired Chiropractor. I had a bladder infection when I was in college and he directed me to drink a quart of unsweetened cranberry juice and all would be well.

Funny thing ... that was all I had to do (that and get past the horrible taste of unsweeted cranberry juice (that stuff was horrible).
