yes, there certainly can be too much of a good thing, there is such a thing as zinc toxicity, but it's worth getting tested i reckon. there seems to be quite a bit of debate in the research about zinc and ms specifically. i don't have it pieced together yet. the best bet site says lots of ppl with ms have zinc deficiency. the literature doesn't really seem to support that contention. but i got tested and was quite seriously deficient... so from where i sit the science can debate all it wants.

Jimmy my wife takes daily 50mg zinc and when last few days she had a blood test found zinc level exactly in the middle of normal levels, quite interesting her hormones and most of blood indexes came at the middle of normal levels, ECXEPT liver enzymes thus my worries!
Even her older blood tests were much worse than current which means LDN, diet and supplementation did helped her!

Jeff's liver enzymes have been up only once again since his diagnosis, and most of his petechiae have faded to orange, but I still am trying to put all the pieces together. He's pretty stable, but deals with daily leg pain, fatigue and brain fog. It's certainly not fun. Hang in there, Dim!

My wife never had fatique issues probably due to LDN and training with a vibro machine that stopped last few weeks due to her colds and our try to get pregnant, fortunately today she walked a long distance in the sun (32 celcius degrees ambient!!!) without problem which encourages me as probably means her fatique diminishes.
I bought more than 5 boxes silymarin along with liquorice and other detox substances and just delivered the N-acetyl cysteine with the hope her new blood test in a month show lowering AST/ALT levels, hope!

that's great that she's got that good zinc regimen. i forget does she have results for uric acid too?

Upper normal levels Jimmy, 6 when normal range is - if I remember right - between 1.9-7!

very good i'm hoping that mine will have normalized also.
