I have had MS since 1984. A lot of medical history, but won't bore you to tears. Anyway, I am on a new supplement that is making me feel better than I have in years! Energy, depression, sleeping, pooping, all better. Heck even my skin looks and feels better. It has all the dark berries. Is it that that is helping? The b vitamins? It is SUPPOSED to increase your own stem cell production. Can it? Anyone else on a supplement that is helping?

I've been looking into several things.

My MS connection is my Wife to be. Not Myself.

However I've been looking into supplements for serious neural problems.

My sister's Fibromyalgia (sp) and my Dad's Neuropathy.

Both have had head injuries and Epilepsy.

My sister just started Vitamin D (with Omega 3) and it's made a huge difference for her. In one month she went from 23 hours of sleep/day to 12 hours. And I can see a complete turnaround in attitude.

The reason I'm interested in OPCs and Resveritrol is that I've seen statements that they can help the body with it's own healing process including Myelin. ???????? And it looks like they do a lot more than just that.

I had always heard that Myelin doesn't regenerate.

The problem is that my GF's pharmacist says she shouldn't do anyting with grapeseed extract because it affects your Liver/enzyme count.

Since she's on Rebif that may be a huge negative.

I'm looking for input on this too.

THANKS for your post

Hi Glyn,

I'm using resveratrol for about three years now (1 per day (evening), 40mg trans-resveratrol). I have taken it together with Copaxone, various Antibiotics and LDN and Tysabri. My blood work has never shown any problems (including the liver).

I cant say much about the effect of resveratrol because I only used it with other supplements and drugs. But there is certainly no direct difference when I stop it for a month and restart taking it afterwards...
