Hi - I am very glad to have found this forum.
I don't have MS, but it appears I have Cpn.
I have been very sick for years.
I have tested positive for Lyme (culture test), Bartonella, MycoPn and Cpn. I also have HypoG/CVID for which I do IVIG infusions of Gammaglobulin.

My Cpn test was done a week after an infusion so I hope the donated antibodies did not skew the results. I rather doubt it - but would anyone know? IVIG is mostly IGG with a small pct IGA antibodies. My Cpn test was 1:256* IGG and IGA.

*(reviewed my results and corrected here - had typed 1:64 - bad memory!)

FWIW my MycoPn tests were positive before starting IVIG.

Did I read somewhere on this site that CAP can "reset" the immune system?

Anyway, I first thought to try to tackle Lyme but just cannot imagine the high doses of Abx. I tried bactericidal drugs like Bicillin-LA - then decided I wanted to try the bacteriostatic route - like the Wheldon Protocol. With the Abx I have on hand I have started it ie 100 mg Doxy Monohydrate/day and 250 Zithromax mg 3x/week.

I probably will be on my own self-treating and need to get Abx soon as I am running low.

One can purchase w/o Rx Abx from Inhouse pharmacy?
Doxine (Doxy Hyclate) and Roxithromycin?

Any idea how long it takes the meds to get to the US? And what happens at customs in regards to possible VAT etc?
If taxes to be paid - how and when?

Thanks ever so much any help here. Kindly, Susan

Hi Susan,

I'm following the Wheldon protocol too. I think you can usually get faster feedback with cpn related questions on CPn Help. Or someone will pop over from there in a day or so. I'm a newbie so I can't answer your questions.

GL!

Oops. Um. Google cpn help and you will find the site I am trying to direct you to.

I thought to post here because I am on IVIG - which I have read is sometimes used for MS treatment.
I have only been tested for Cpn once and that was years into IVIG treatment for CVID.
I was hoping that Dr Wheldon or others might have experience in testing/tracking Cpn with antibody tests - when one has received donated antibodies.
Presumably IVIG contains Cpn antibodies.

Am I to believe my IGG and IGA results of 1:256 are "true"
and that I have Cpn?

I have started the protocol anyway and pray it helps.
I am on my own with this.

I am also researching for a friend with MS - to see if he will be tested and try the protocol. So far not receptive. And he is in the medical field. Will keep trying.

Susan, everybody is on their own in this: even me despite the fact that I am married to Dr Wheldon. Only I know how I feel.

If your test was 1:256 it was true. Negative tests are often wrong but not positive ones.
