For what it is worth, rifampin doesn't cause me any problems at all. Could be that you may experience the same thing!

Thanks, rifampinauts.

I guess the question will be whether I'm adding rifampin to what I'm taking already, or if it will replace something. Emailing the good doctor tonight...

Obviously I can't speak for your good doctor but mine replaced doxy with rifampicin which made me worse for a while because rifampicin isn't immunomodulatory: Lori is lucky in that she did it from the start so had nothing really to compare it with. DW is of the opinion that it is best to take as few abx at one time as you can get away with, but I did miss dropping the doxy for a few weeks.

Hey, apart from a couple of weeks of needless panic in February, I haven't taken anything for a year, nearly!

When Kim started taking Rifampin she got a boost until she started taking Azith. She couldn't believe it. But, then again, it was her very first ABX and maybe that had something to do with it. Also Kim had been on NAC for atleast a year prior to that. For the most part Rifampin doesn't seem to be very noticeable now. But, maybe you'll find something wonderful to feel that will be fresh and new!!! Ken
