This is flat out misinformation. It has been scientifically shown that Borellia is not only passed by ticks, but by an number of biting insects that can pass blood between hosts. Our little friend the mosquito is certainly an under reported culprit.

I understand that.

I was just pointing out that Lyme, however, is not exclusively passed by ticks. This is a common misconception that doctors and normal people alike need to be aware of.
