Yep. I did it. I quit smoking.

I am on Day 3 of my new smoke-free life. I quit cold turkey and have every intention of making this work.

I appreciate all the support from all of you!!!

Happy New Year!

Boo-Bear, good for you!!!

We hear so many stories, was it you who post-liberation could really tell the effects that smoking had? You had some cigarettes and paid for it badly for a few days? If not, it was another one of us here. I think this is one of the best things a pwMS can do for themselves, aside from the venoplasty itself. Happy New Year!!

That was me, Cece. BooBear congrats. I have been quitting now for months. I'm pretty good, then I can't explain what comes over me. I buy a pack and immediately regret it. As the title of that thread said, You can't fix stupid."(...Ron White), and in my case it holds true, but I'm trying.

Well done you!
I am 6 years off them and the only regrets I have is not giving up sooner.
You will shudder to think of smoking again, given time, I bet!

That's great news. Think of all the improvements you'll get:
Save your lungs
Improve your MS symptoms
Save money
Reduce stains on your teeth
Makes you smell better too.
