well pretty sure i scratched a tick off myself last eve! can't be sure because it was on my shoulder blade. definitely felt like a foreign object. now looks like a bite. at least we don't seem (so far) to be in a high risk area for the ticks a) belonging to species which can transmit lyme, and b) which are actually infected themselves.

Watch your core temperature. If you see any unusual increase or other symptoms, go to a hospital. Onset is 1-3 days. Some ticks are no joke.

Or just don't risk anything and go to hospital as soon as possible for some checks.

definitely keeping an eye on the bite for sure! have a day off tomorrow so will be able to monitor. taking some extra antibacterial nutritional measures as well!

i'm gonna be pissed if i end up with a red meat allergy. 1 serving a week is in my regimen! think my little friend was most likely a dog tick tho. *fingers crossed*
