I think Dilbert is the best syndicated comic going. I have the desk calendar and a few "Dilbert action figures" that my staff bought me at my last job. It's so funny because there is so much truth to it, albeit from the theater of the absurd side of things. I actually think Dilbert is the inspiration for "The Office". Whether directly or not, I think it had an influence. There's just so much we want to say at work that doesn't get said, so Dilbert does it for us.

Wally is my professional role model from here on out

Today I am very, very grateful for something that used to seem so benign. I'm back to work, for a while anyway, and I have a major 'pep in my step' today. After the last few years I was feeling like I might not be capable of this kind of general enthusiasm and positive outlook anymore and I'm just grateful as hell that I can still find it. It may not last, but who cares? I can live for the day now and I'm going to enjoy this one, even though it's shitty out :D .

But read my response. QUOTABLE; not funniest or best.

Without a doubt Caddyshack is the most quotable movie.

"Danny, do you do drugs?"
"Everyday."
"Then what's the problem?"

But this movie has to be up there, too:

"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"[/quote]

My son is going thru a classic 70-80s comedy phase with his buddies...naked gun, airplane, all of Mel Brooks movies, Bill Murray's flicks. We're laughing our a$$es off every weekend!

Glad you're enjoying being back in the office, Lew.

Ahhh, Mel Brooks. Now those are some quotable movies. Spaceballs still makes me laugh even though I've probably seen it a dozen times.

I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.
