The scene I really remember from that movie is Randy Quaid, standing in the street in his bathrobe, emptying the waste from his r.v. into the storm drain.

Lew,

That is my husband's favorite line from the movie! It is actually his favorite movie, we watch it all the time.

"He's cute ain't he? Only problem is, he's got a little bit a Mississippi leg hound in 'im. If the mood catches him right, he'll grab your leg and just go to town. You don't want him around if your wearing short pants, if you know what I mean. Word of warning though, if he does lay into ya, it's best to just let 'im finish."

"Every time Catherine would turn on the microwave, I'd piss my pants and forget who I was for about half an hour."

"I don't know if I oughta go sailin' down no hill with nothin' between the ground and my brains but a piece of government plastic."
"Do you really think it matters, Eddie?"

"Clark! I don't want to spend the Holidays dead!"

"I don't know what to say, except it's Christmas and we're all in misery."

"Hey Griswold. Where do you think you're gonna put a tree that big?"
"Bend over and I'll show you."
"You've got a lot of nerve talking to me like that Griswold"
"I wasn't talking to you."

OK That's enough... sorry

"Who am I? I'm the guy who put the bathrooms in this place."
(Joe Pesci to bar owner)

Rodney Dangerfield to bald store clerk standing next to bald mannequin:

"Why don't you two put your heads together and make an ass out of yourselves."

Both from "Easy Money."

Now this isn't in the same vein as the ones we are quoting, but there is just some great offbeat humor in these. I suppose that's true of any movie from Christopher Guest. I loved "Best in Show"and "A Mighty Wind" and "Waiting for Guffman", and of of course "This Is Spinal Tap". They're all good.

Some of my faves:

I didn't see the others, but that scene from "Spinal Tap" is classic. Two other scenes form that movie that stick with me: the dwarfs dancing around the Stonehenge statues onstage, and when the band is trying to find their way to the stage at the arena; then have to ask the janitor for directions. Hilarious!

This is from a movie I kiind of stumbled on (didn't know about it when it came out) and it's one of my favorite comedies now. Anyway, here's a funny scene and if you haven't watched it, I'd highly recommend it.
