I'm sure I may be the last to have seen this, but at least it is new for me on the Opexa site. Judging by the last paragraph they seem determined to get this to phase 3. I'm not sure how that affects us.

Gotta love the ambiguous language at the bottom "...has expansion capability to meet Phase III manufacturing requirements." Doesn't say whether they will, or they won't. Bet it's a lawyer clause.........

Well, kids, in my opinion, I think we might be on the train back to the station. I'm going to zip off a few more e-mails and see how fast I run into a brick wall.

Seriously, though, if something is in the wind, I rather suspect the gang at our trial sites might have a heads-up. So I'm going to be loud and pushy and demand a seat on the front row if "re-start" looks remotely possible.

The stock quote section looked a little healthier than a few weeks back--of course, I haven't looked TODAY and everything might have crashed (again) but I'm inclined to believe that if IT stabilizes and then shows steady growth, we'll be back in business.

One thing is for dern tootin', though. Phase III trials involve a LOT of people. Opexa must be guaranteed a cash flow to see this through to FDA approval. If this phase gets fast-tracked like the Tysabri one did... d'ya think we might just see Tovaxin on the market in the next couple of years?

I think it might not be a bad idea to start kicking some politicians' behinds to get single-payer, universal health care on board NOW or else we will soon be angst-ing about how the heck we're going to pay for this good gunk when our insurance companies say "NEE! (as in Knights Who Say NEE!)"

So let's see what we can cook up.
