I personally think that the disease process is over when the immune system gets rebooted. There is no reason my lesions are healing and my PT is finally sticking. Again keep in mind I had 5 years of MS where all that happened was A. I got more lesions every MRI for 5 years with none disappearing and B. I did PT 3 times while I was still active during those 5 years and we quit every time because the PT folk said it was a waste of time.

Keri, I personally think, had an extremely vigorous MS, and may be one of the folks who may need to be retreated. Dr. B did tell me one other person had to be retreated and they were out darn near 9 months this time with no issues.

Also I did something else when that lesion appeared in November. I saw the folks at Rush are put on 5000 iu a day of Vitamin D so I got my numbers. I was a 21 so my doc put me on 4 weeks of 50,000 iu per week. That got me to 34 and now I take 2000iu a day...so far so good!
