I have been on Copaxone for about 5 years .. all systems go, seems to be keeping me on my feet etc. my arms look pretty bad and i was wondering if i stop shooting there - will the fat fill back in? just wondering if this happens. . it did on my legs - but i only shot there a few times bc it killed like a mo-fo and the dents were too much to deal with ..

let me know

Hi. I stopped the shots years ago and I still have scars and gross lumps under my skin. I have a particular bad scar on my arm that looks like a bullet wound. That's what I'm gonna tell my grand kids someday :P My bikini wearing days are definitely over because of how scarred my stomach is.

No.
I stopped for 2 years nearly between trying to conceive, pregnancy etc, but there was no improvement, in fact the hollows got worse.
I have avoided all the badly lipoatrophied sites completely now for 3 years but there is no improvement, and I assume the new sites I am using will lipo too in time....just hoping something oral will be available by then.
Bikinis, shorts and all that are gone for me too. :cry:

Edited to add: I saw a plastic surgeon last year about the areas of lipo. She confirmed that the Copaxone will continue to erode further newer injection sites and that using 'fillers' is not viable as the areas will not stabilise unless I was to stop using Copaxone. Not good. Roll on an oral alternative. :roll:
