Hi..I am neg lyme and lupus with many MS symptoms. Buzzing sensation left leg, black hole in vision, burning sensation left neck and back, foggy headed, feel bruised on left arm but no bruising. Neuro said non contrast brain mri was clean so it cannot be MS. Can I have cognitive issues if there are lesions on spine and not brain? He did not seem to think further testing is necessary but did not have any diagnosis either. Ps..During first symptoms I also felt like I was walking on a boat and sensations felt different In left hand...Overall the symptoms have been for 5 months now.

your neuro seems to be a funny person! Certainly you can have cognitive issues if there are lesion in the spine instead of the brain. Indeed I know many other MS people with ONLY lesions in the spine! Anyway the contrast only works when you are in a acute push! And no lesions doens`t mean who don`t have MS! Unluckily! Some people are having MS but you see their lesions in the mri years later! What about a lumbar puncture? Was it done? Maybe you should go to another doc....good luck to you and cheer up!

So sorry..I posted under the wrong topic...thanks for replying. The first dr told me it was probably hormonal since it all started 3 months after giving birth. Second dr is the one that said no ms due to clear brain mri..He won't give me other tests just sent me packing. I really hope it isn't ms (or anything serious)..I have a friend with it and give you all so much credit for pushing through even though you are hurting...I just want answers because it's scary.

I urge you to copy your post here in the Copaxone forum and paste it into a new thread under the Introductions forum (not everyone reads every forum – for instance, if someone does not use Copaxone, he may not read the Copaxone forum). Making an Introductions entry will give more people a chance to welcome you.

I am eager to respond to a couple ideas you expressed, but I do not think "Copaxone" is the proper place.
