If you're running out of injection sites....

Hi
I've been on Copaxone 5 years (or is it 6 just can't remember!). I took a year off to have my son who is nearly 4 weeks old now.
I have started back on Copaxone last week.
Just to say, before I took the break from Copaxone I had run out of usable sites because of lipoatrophy and hard lumps. It was getting very hard to find a viable injection site and I didn't carry much body fat. The funny thing is that with the baby I put on 1 stone in weight and now I have LOADS of new injection sites!
I was always very careful with my weight but I now think I will keep on the stone extra as it is really helping with the Copaxone. The damaged sites haven't regenerated during the pregnancy, but with the new areas of fat I am ok to continue. Although in time they may become lipoatrphy too, for the moment it is much easier to inject.
