There will be an item tonight on Dutch tv on CCSVI (Eenvandaag, 18.15-18.40 hrs, ned 1 )

Is there finally a breakthrough for MS patients?

16.000 Dutch MS patients who suffer from this incurable disease are very excited. Medical science is more cautious but hopeful.

The Italian doctor Zamboni has succesfully operated a number of Ms patients, a relative simple procedure in which the veins in the neck undergo angioplasm.

The first Dutch patient has travelled to Poland to undergo Zamboni's procedure as doctors here are reluctant to operate.

If my guess is correct, there will be doctors responding who are working on the VU trial.

Yes it is going to be objective.

I was involved in the process and I know that they interviewed one of the neurologists at the VUmc, who are conducting the research about the link CCSVI-MS. They are still skeptical, but positively optimistic.
Then they interviewed Yvonne, who was the first Dutch patient to be liberated in Poland and shows impressive improvements ever since.
And then they interviewed me.

They also bought the CTV documentary about Zamboni and will use pieces of that.

The objective of the item is to tell the world about this amazing discovery, the need for further reserach, the implications for PwMS and the role internet played in bringing this story to the world.

Hopefully it will put pressure on the speed of developments in The Netherlands.

It was a really good item! Compliments to Inge and all others involved. :D :D

Even the neuro from the VU trial seemed more positive than I had hoped for. He also said that they expected to have a lot more clearity about the theory within a year - and he said that if Zamboni's right, he could be in line for a nobel price. Hahaha. now that's something I agree with.

At the end the reporter said that they are doing a larger study in US, reports so far seem positive. So great report there. Again, hats off!

Btw translation is being made as we speak, sub will hopefully be available in a couple of days.
