As has been noted by a certain award-winning blogger, the entire CCSVI theory would likely be relegated to a dusty back shelf if not for the thousands of voices clamoring for testing, treatment and research. My breath still catches a bit to think how easily the whole, huge thing could have slipped away. If Cheer hadn’t found Dake, or convinced CTV, or most importantly (in my mind), if she, and Marie, and others hadn’t left the record of research and conversation and questions and answers that led the first few brave souls on TIMS to get liberated. Without that reads-like-a-novel walk through cellular-level details, I’m not sure if this movement would have sustained itself. I think the core strength that enables us to press on when neurologists, MS Societies and friends tell us we are delusional crack-pots, is that we have become educated enough to know this is worth pursuing. That said, I am the smartest CCSVIer at family parties, and far toward the bottom of one of the fuzzier CCSVI barrels around here.
I read the gargantuan 60-some page thread once, opened a small percentage of the links, and looked up an even smaller percentage of unknown words. Starting tomorrow, while keeping up on current posts, I’m going to open a second window (rear window if you will) and try to re-read.
So, 3 pages a day (inspired by AlmostClever’s “3-page attention span”), including ALL of Schelling and everything else. It’ll take 3 weeks, but I figure it kills time while waiting on Buffalo, and I’ll be a bit smarter in the end.
I’d love some company if anyone wants to join me…please…I’m apt to fall off the wagon without a few friends.

Excellent summary... You nailed it, Berriesarenice... I couldn't have said it better.. Seriously, I couldn't have said it better. This brain fog, inability to type and spell without countless backspace and visits to dictionary.com, I wish I had the energy to join you :-)

Hopefully I'll get treated soon and I'll join you for sure!! Right now just know that we're in this together - hopefully we'll continue to share and support..

Not sure where I'd be without all the positive posters here??? Off to read, read, read.... someday I hope I can contribute and give back.

That's funny. I read every page too (it was around 58 when I started), and did follow most of the links.

Now because of the brain fog, and a few typographical corrections, I can't remember my point.

Sorry.Nevermind.
