Over the past few weeks we have mobilized an expanded team of researchers and administrators, as well as hired additional staff at all levels to accommodate testing requests and your need to secure an appointment in the very near future.
I'm starting to really like these guys.

With 500 registrations in 3 weeks, that's $2.25 million. (based on $4500 a pop!)

OK - these dudes (and the machine manufacturer) are gonna make a TON of money and I feel absolutely great about that! Just wait until this gets approved by insurance and everyone gets a go!

I bet it won't be long before we see other doctors everywhere getting on board!

(Anyone know who makes the machine being used?)

I'll be there as soon as they call me... just a 4hr drive !! My neuro. is so neg. (as is the other neuro. in the center), that I'm praying for stenosis so I can show them - AND throw it in their face... THEN I'll be getting a new Doctor...

Kinda off topic, but... I was getting an infusion (tysabri) just the other day and this sweet older woman (with ms also) asked her neuro. (in passing - I could not help to eavesdrop as she was sitting right next to me..) what his thoughts were in regards to CCSVI... his (irresposible) response.. Gobbledygook.. what an ass ! Her response to him was... well I guess I won't bring it up at my next appointment.. I felt so bad for her - disbelief and sadness were written all over her face at that point.. WTF??? btw, this guy is an ms specialist at a univ. and has a waiting list to see him one year out... If I could have gotton out of the infusion chair, I'd have dropped kicked him in the balls for being so insensitive.

His name is Rock Heyman - UPMC (Univ. of Pittsburgh Medical Center) - just so you know.

What the hell is wrong with these neuros?

I'll gladly fork over the $ to them than to donate it to the MS Society... At least it'll go to good use and the research will continue... I'll consider it my contribution :D

From the BNAC site: 1.5T and 3T GE MRI scanners not sure what dopplers..

:D :D :D :D
