Hello all,

It’s time for some updates on the shirts and other awareness items. I just talked with the supplier, and he said the launch date for the online store should be this Friday.

I know it seems to be taking a while, but I believe it will be well worth the wait in the end.

This is how it will work:

1) Online store will be launched, and everyone will be encouraged to make their orders as soon as possible.

2) Our goal will be 1,000 shirt orders in a week or less. Shirts are $12.50 each plus taxes and shipping- Youth sizes will also be available, as well as XXL and XXXL (for 1.50 more). This price is FAR below what we would be charged if we bought these shirts on an individual basis. Plus a large portion of this will go directly to research and awareness.

3) As soon as 1,000 shirts are ordered, Wilson International will start printing and will have the shirts ready and begin shipping the next day.

4) I have received emails that account for around 575 shirts. If you haven’t sent me an email, please consider doing so. Just simply let me know how many you would like to order when the time comes. My email is ccsvi@live.com

5) If after a week, we have not reached the 1,000 mark, I will give Wilson International the go ahead to start printing. You will still get your shirt for the same price. This just simply means less money for research and awareness. This is why I would love to reach the 1,000 mark!

6) If after the initial order goes to print, you want to make an order, this is great. CCSVI Worldwide Victory will be purchasing 50 shirts of various sizes, and these shirts will be kept in stock at Wilson International. This means that when you make an order, the shirt already has the design printed, and they can ship the same day!

Now, for some other items

The supplier for the Business Cards had been chosen, and we expect a launch date for this online store to be Friday as well. Just no goal of 1,000 orders! There will be significant savings for us in this deal also, and a fund raising factor involved. Give me a day or two, and I should have the details for you. I want to make sure I give you the correct information.

I need to better understand who is interested in what other items.

I have Wilson International working on caps at the moment. I chose a navy blue cap with red lettering to go with the shirt. However, we could get it in light blue (the color of the shirt) or white. You can see this at: http://ccsviworldwidevictory.com/AwarenessProducts.aspx This design will be threaded, not iron on.

He is working on the Drain the Brain design.

I am not completely sure, but it looks like the caps will be $15.00. (With about $7.00 of this going to research and awareness.) Again, this is a great price!

If you would rather have a different design, I need to know. Please keep in mind though, that CCSVI Worldwide Victory will have to stock 12 of each design in order to get the best price and if they don’t sell, this comes out of research and awareness funds.

In other words, it will be best to pick a few of the favorite designs and stick with them.

Also, they are working on lapel pins. They will be the basic logo of the question mark and the M and S. They are 1 ¼ in., and will be $8.00. If you think they should be a different design, let me know. Do you think these lapel pins will go over? I will need to order at least 250 of them upfront.

One more item-A golf shirt of various colors, with the basic logo. Not sure of the cost on this yet, I will let you know. Do you think these will go over? I only need to order 12 at a time, so not a huge risk there.

Again, this design will be threaded. Is the basic logo a good choice for the golf shirt? Do you have a better idea?

Thanks in advance for your responses; I look forward to hearing your opinions!

Wow, amazing stuff here!

I have nothing useful to add, and this is completely off topic, but keeps making me giggle...if you'll indulge some childishness, I thought I'd pass it on while y'all are working so hard.

Remember that old knock-knock joke,
"Knock-knock."
"Who's there?"
"Dwayne."
"Dwayne who?"
"Dwayne the bathtub I'm dwownding."

Every time I see the t-shirt graphic I keep thinking
"Dwayne my bwain, I'm dwownding"

I think CCSVI just makes me giddy in general

Vonna,

All your work is just so tremendous. Dr H looks awfully good in his
new attire. We will be placing orders absolutely for our walk event.

Regarding your site it's getting so much praise it truly is amazing.
Someone at a CCSVI meeting recently said they will be nominating
your work for a prestigous science web award.

Hi berriesarenice,
Your post did make me laugh. Too funny!

Mangio,
Wow! That was encouraging!

Hey, I worked on a new project last night. It is for a car magnet, but you can also copy and paste in for use on the web. It incorporates the puzzle idea! See it at:

Hello everyone,
The caps will be in the online store soon.
We are also working on lapel pins and golf shirts.

I would really really like your opinion on these things, so please visit:

http://ccsviworldwidevictory.com/AwarenessProducts.aspx

and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page.

Do you like the emblem on the golf shirt? Actually, it's what Wilson International chose. I was going to go with just the question mark and the MS. Another idea is, the Multiple Stenosis Multiple Sclerosis just like the t-shirt, or No Drain No Gain. Please give your opinions so that I will have a better idea what to go with.

Also, what about the lapel pins? Who is interested in these?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi vonma
got my 10 T-shirts already, and wanted to order business cards but when i clicked "purchase here", it didn't get me to the order page. as usual, i had problems opening the lapel link, there was only the little x, and it wouldn't open. i love the idea of car magnets, but, they and the golf shirts were no where to be seen...????? esta, the oh, challenged one...

Hello Esta,
Thanks for asking. Actually, it is very possible that I had the wrong link for the business cards on this page. I did change it, but make things easier, here it is. Please let me know if this doesn't work.
The link is for business cards and magnets.

http://ccsvi.biz.vistaprint.com

The link for the shirts is:

http://www.wilsoninternational.com/ccsvi

As for the caps, golf shirts, and lapel pins, there is no link yet. I posted this go get everyone's opinion on these items.

Please let me know if you have trouble with the links, because if you do it is most likely on my end, and I want to fix it.

I have given the okay for the caps, but am thinking I would like to change the imprint on the golf shirt to the question mark logo. As for the lapel pins, I am wanting to go ahead with them, but would like other people to comment.

One idea that has been discussed for the lapel pins is that we sell them for $5.00 ea in a bulk of 25. In other words, $125.00 for 25 pins. Then individuals could sell on their end for research or even to raise money individually for someone who needed the surgery. They could sell the pins for $10.00 or more not on the basis of what the pin was worth, but on the basis of the pin is the buyers souvenir for donating for someone to have the surgery. It would not be unusual for people to end up donating 15.00 or 20.00 or more in a case like this. And, we could also simply offer the lapel pins for sell at $7.00 each. Please let me know your opinions on this! :D

hi vhonna
i'm not so sure about the lapel pins.
re the business cards-i ended up paying more for shipping than the cards, then it said free shipping if i ordered another set, but ini actual fact, i now have 500 cards and the free shippping aas only fo the second set, soooo beware, is my advice. i'm nervous about the caps...

Yes, I know, I'm not crazy about how Vista Print advertises and prices. Bottom line though, the end price is actually very good compared to the other companies I checked out. They are around half price compared to the other companies.

What makes you nervous about the caps? I only have to order 12 at a time, and I have had some interest in them so I'm thinking it's not much risk.

Thanks for your input!

Hi VOona
it's a challenge to get rid of 500 cARDS but that should be a good challenge really!
I know for myself I would like 4 caps-I'm just nervous they will rip me off also.
But I'm a big girl .

Hi esta,
500 cards is 500 potential people that you get to share the news of CCSVI with, and just think of how many people will see those caps! :D
