These announcements demonstrate it best. The entire structure needs modernisation, to stimulate independent initiative and thought. Old control points through which parties dominated the MS world, exerted leverage or preserved prerequisites need to be dismantled.
The rules of engagement between the MS patients and the old MS system need to change, in fact are changing. The CCSVI Alliance Inc will help there. What a great move! Congratulations cheer!

This is a link that has a thread that indicated lots of CCSVI exposure to come at this years meeting.? I am not finding the info about CCSVI as I read over the link re the conference. I sure hope there isn't a lost year.

Perhaps we need to be searching the topic of CCSVI at vascular conferences? There were several last year, and many, many more in 2010. These are the doctors who are equipped to treat CCSVI, who understand the importance of venous return and are ready to look at this disease.
Charing Cross, Montecarlo, Bologna, FLorida...
I like this story, because this is where the research will come from. A Serbian vascular doctor who hears Italian Dr. Zamboni in FLorida and decides to study CCSVI....

We have one in Winnipeg this April: the Winnipeg Vascular & Endovascular Symposium. They even have a Vascular Medicine panel that includes -
"MS Neurologists' Perspective on MS and Vascular Disease: Michael Cossoy"
Which, knowing Dr Cossoy's perspective on CCSVI, is not actually promising...

I would like to see that the neurologist take a more holistic view and try to integrate CCSVI into the autoimmune theory. Those with real leadership skills will eventually I'm sure.
