Darn, I see what you mean Fogdweller (not about you being a wet blanket!).

So the study is actually to see if angioplasty will keep the veins open. The purpose statement does say

"The purpose of this Study is to evaluate safety, feasibility and efficacy of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty in treating extracranial venous obstructive lesions, and its influence on the clinical outcomes of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients."

but when do they look at these outcomes. I take your point about the funding too.

I guess that was the pinch of reality I needed.

Somebody has already done the study!!!.
See this article named "Is chronic fatigue the symptom of venous insufficiency associated with multiple sclerosis?"
They conclude that fatigue is possibly a direct effect of CCSVI and therefore it is independent of the sclerosis in the brain.
