CCSVI problems after surgery

It's difficult to find standardized answers from folks who have benefited from the liberation treatment. It seems like there are over 300 people now, and where is the overview of their progress? What happened short term? And how have things changed over time?

And how many patients have had bad experiences? Other than Rici, I haven't found any information on adverse effects of CCSVI. Is it because this is such a safe procedure? Or is it because that information is not (yet?) available?

Judging from the responses of people who have given their narratives, and Dr. Zamboni's papers, it would seem the main adverse after effect is that in venoplasty, there's a real chance of re-stenosis.

Rosegirl,

There's also been some accessory nerve flare-ups in some stented patients, and I read that no one likes the side effects from having to take coumadin post-surgery.
