According to the article they will only be doing testing and seeing how our veins drain the brain. Did I miss something? It didn't sound like treatment was part of this study.

Yes it does look like only the scanning but maybe someone in the area can confirm.

I think the most disappointing aspect to this is that there is a HUGE 22,000 MS sufferers who clearly, are interested in the potential of CCSVI yet won't be getting any satisfaction. So what do they do? - 22,000 x $25,000 to Mumbai? The world-wide medical industry needs a *****good shake up!

Maybe it's just screening, and not the treatment!

but they have to start somewhere,

and it's still better than doing nothing!!

p.s. I will be at the parliament hill as of 5th of may for the CCSVI event!
if someone want to join me!

For those who missed it in previous posts, Dr. Hakke is a Ph.D. NOT an MD. If he so much as put a band-aid on a cut for someone he would be in hot water up to his neck.

His area of expertise is the MRI - the machine and the imaging software and protocols. All he is doing is a very badly needed scientific study comparing MS patients to non-diseased controls. No one in this study will be getting any 'treatment'.

As a patient of the Hamilton MS clinic I have already offered them my head for this study. I did make it clear however that I want it back when they're done with it.
