They have been very professional in responding to emails and on Facebook. They seem to be pro stents if the area to be treated is safe for stenting.

I do get a sneaking suspision that maybe one or more Drs from Simkas place may be involved, but not sure.

I am also down for Ameds. Look very good and great at responding...but you can't judge from that.
I'm in Scotland (the MS Capital 8O ), but dying to get to California sometime soon. :D
There is a new clinic Essential Health Clinic Near where I stay but not sore about this one (too much doubt about cost of actual Procedure and paid upfront for scan appointment). Paul Crowe in Birmingham England is wanting to set up ream to clinical trial but taking no new names now.
I was disgusted to read the rumour that Michael Dake's work had been stopped when IT HAS NOT - I think it is the Pharm co.'s putting that out as they stand to lose BILLIONS. We must shout loud about this as it is threatenning the whole scene -doctors know very little and are so wary. i have written to mine threatenning to sue the NHS if they deny me a SCAN - it is my right, and yours too.
It is a desperate time yeah? Good luck everyone.
Kev

Please support these clinics to get off the ground if you can afford to. The cost of setting up is very high and they are commercial enterprises not charities.
For me the key questions to ask are:

1 - Were your personnel trained for Colour Doppler Sonography (DS) by the Ferrara, Italy or Katowice, Poland staff ?
2 - Do you use Selective Venography (SV) to confim diagnosis ? if not which technique ?

The best way to spread the message of CCSVI is for pwMS to be destenosed. Of course this has risks but so does living with MS.
Please do not block slots at either clinic and then not use them. There are pwMS willing to fly across continents to get this therapy (I recommend they get treatment on their own continent).

Kind regards,
MarkW
