I don't doubt that Mr. Rose has experience treating patients, but if we are to look at his blogs for a source of a counterpoint view, then we need to look at all of his posts in order to understand his perspective.

In many of his posts, Mr. Rose finds treatments for a number of illnesses as useless- in fact, he admonishes some of those treatments as advocacy against a healthy lifestyle.

We can all live a healthy lifestyle- it does not exempt us from the risk of colon cancer, high cholesterol, or any number of diseases that are equally subject to a genetic predisposition and environmental. But Mr. Rose abhors the use of drugs like statins, which he believes serves to treat only the symptoms of an unhealthy lifestyle. Never mind that statins have been found to be of help in many diseases- including MS.

I don't have a problem advocating a healthy lifestyle at all. I do have a problem with a self-proclaimed expert in a field he knows nothing about. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but when one proclaims his opinion to be of more value due to his background (and makes it a point to attempt to discredit others accordingly), that is irresponsible.

You must be mistaken. No way that cheerleader can call Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery who spent all working life helping patients Son of a Bitch.
I think that she was instead addressing Ariel Sharon, who "bore personal, but indirect, responsibility for the massacre by Lebanese militias of Palestinian civilians in the refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila" (from a link you provide).

I will start this post by admitting to a rather frayed state of mind due to my extensive travel of late, increasingly hectic work schedule and all the to-dos I have to get done before I get my procedure done next week. That said...

...I can't wrap my poor, fragile mind (dozens of lesions that it has) around any reason that a particular individual would spend time on this message board if they a.) don't want to learn about CCSVI, b.) don't believe in CCSVI and/or c.) have no personal interest in CCSVI. It seems to be extremely counterproductive to want to partake in these message boards from an antagonistic point of view. I am amazed that these individuals have that kind of time.

Seriously, already. Discussions around the theory and treatment with respectful questioning and honest answers are one thing; but if your mind is made up and this is not for you, then why the @#$%$ do you come to this board?

I was doing my best to just provide the information and not pass judgment :)

"It is as if there are two wolves inside me; one is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way."

"But...the other wolf... ah! The littlest thing will send him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all of the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing."

"Sometimes it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."

The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather ?"

The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."

How insightful and as the Anals noted, "important."

How does it advance the science of this if you don't actually attempt to replicate the work of Dr. Zamboni?

I personally tested the CCSVI theory using tarot cards and was "not able to reproduce the findings by Zamboni et al. " I should submit my results to the growing evidence that CCSVI is not real at least when you don't actually test for it.
Tarot has been shown to be unfocussed and inaccurate compared to the more professional parapsychological methods such as Ouija. Never or nonetheless, it fully agrees with this finding.

Zamboni has said on many occasions that researchers, especially those at financial or mental risk, should continue taking their medication.

"Time is brain, and, as we all know, also money, so the conclusion might be reached that brain is money, but we're still not sure." said Dr. Gamblumer of the Hospital for Sick Billionaires, where he is Chief of Neuro-Phrenology.

CCSVI has again been described among the cognoscenti as "unreal".

The Butcher of Beirut was definitely a Son of a Bitch. Was going to say that earlier but what the hell.

EDIT: On second thought, at least he kicked some settlers off of occupied land, which I don't think his Yahoo successor will be doing any time soon.
