Q for those that had negative doppler/MRV

I am scheduled for doppler next week with a vascular surgeon. I am trying to think of what to tell the doctor if the results come back negative... should I insist on the MRV? Venography? Redo the doppler?

If anyone has advice/experience on how to proceed feel free to share.

Thanks!

I dunno ... I had a doppler done @ Stanford and pretty sure that Dake didn't even really look at it, indicating that the standard doppler tests (not done to Zamboni's protocol] were of limited or no value ... he just focused on the MRV entirely.

I asked Dr.Godley similar question yesterday during the webcast.

His answer was (not quoting verbatim of course) - "The Doppler is tricky. If not done from every possible angle and in every possible head position it might not reveal anything. I think venography is the only sure way to test."

The reason I asked was because my own "I am not so sure they will find anything" Doppler test is scheduled for this upcoming Monday. :?
