Did anyone understand the bit Zamboni mentioned about neuroimmunology, CSF flow, etc. at 26-28 minutes during the webcast?

In layman's terms he is saying that CSF dynamics are modified greatly by CCSVI, and could potentially be gateway for opportunistic virus/bacteria to do their damage (EBV, etc). He's calling on the neuroimmunologists to study this as they are experts in the relationships between the CNS and Immunology.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Hello Johnnymac,
I agree with your synopsis. This is a very interesting area for future research. If CCSVI therapy reverses the permeability of the BBB to nasty things like viruses, bacteria, RBCs/iron the there is a good chance that myelin repair drugs might work. Hopefully a researcher will work on BBB permeability before too long.
Kind regards,
