According to the UBC MRI Research site http://www.mriresearch.ubc.ca/content/CCSVI/index.php

..approx $3 million in research funds is required to move forward.. how about this... they put a cost to diagnosis and treament.. for arguments sake ...say $3,000... make it available to those that wish to participate.. not only would the funds quickly accumulate but they would have more results to review than ever 'image'ined!!

this could be viewed as favouring 'those' that could afford this BUT why not take advantage of 'those'?.. the benefits to others would be exponential..!

I know that things are never as simple as they should or could be...

Just sayin'...

PCakes, did I hear something about UBC forbidding an IR from undertaking a CCSVI treatment? Will that affect donations to the UBC campaign, I wonder. I've been busy with life (yes, it does exist!) and haven't been following things closely lately.

...not sure if UBC was invloved?

.. subsequent post by Happy Canuck...

We are moving on this in other channels -- if you want to be kept informed, send me your name and email address and I'll add you to the mailing. A PM here would be good or through Facebook.

This is one doctor and one hospital -- have faith, things will move again soon.

I think he was blackmailed by collegues, I have no idea why? Is it me or that seems to be very very complicated to just perform a "!$/$/"|!" angioplasty here, in Canada. Poland, Kuwait, USA and Italy are driving the bus and were not even seated inside. I believe we are running in the opposite direction at an incredible speed.
