yes, it was a dr. on the news, could cause a brain hemmorage was what he inferred. the warning was for mixing herbs and drugs.
you'll probably be on bloodthinners anda an aspirin fo a year if you get a stent. that's new too.... oh boy, better and better.
yes, hi to nigel too, good luck on the trip. i was in the ladies only room this time. its bette for everyone to sleep in the hotel that night. they'll keep the problematic ones.
i wonder about cathetizing? probably, no mving for 6 hrs
don't forget the antibiotics... i took mine right away so i wouln't ge a bladder infection, didn't wait for any symptoms. this time.
Hiya Esta,

Catheter mmmmm I had problems last time and so am going to request none this time. I wonder if I can get away with that?? :)

I will stop taking the suppliments at the end of this month, just to be on the safe side. I don't want to take any risks with that.

Did they not keep you, as I recall you are rather problematic ha ha. All females in one ward sounds OK, but if it was that way last time we would not have had the pleasure of the lovely Marko grunting all night :)

Keep me updated on your progress. I am always lurking on here looking for updates.

Take care,

Mags x

Why don't you use external catheter? Any bladder malfunction? I agree they do not help for urine retention but if "going to pee" is your concern; just try; I am using them regularly with satisfaction.

Diaper is not an option if you are going to be punctured in the groin area...

Hope this may help :)

Hi Mags,

I refused the catheter and managed just fine, but now that you are only laying down for the 6 hours it should be even less of a problem?

Hi Algis,

Yes I have the small catheters but still have problems with infections, so try not to use them.

I have bought something called a she wee, helps women to pee like a man :) So I may be able to manage with that, just need a bottle beside me.

I just hope it prevents another infection... we will see.

Thanks again,

Mags

I had no catheter, and in the 6 hours I waited I think my eyes turned yellow. I tried the little "duck" bedpan thing but there were SO MANY OF NIGEL'S FRIENDS AND RELATIVES IN THE ROOM my bladder was too shy anyway.

When I finally went my brother said the result was so long and forceful it was "Austin Powers-worthy"...

Esta, I will try to manage the 6 hours with the help of the she wee. I took it with me the last time but did not get chance to use it, everything just ook over. This time I will be more prepared.

Soooooo it is all down to you that they are not keeping people in is it? Good on you :)

We tried Pizza hut the last time and I have to say I rather enjoyed it. It is not a place we go to here, so it was a treat. We did spend a lot of time in the Spencer pub and the food was great, so may go back there this time too.

But oh dear, Pizza Hut. I don't think I have ever been in a place with finer food at good prices. Try not to waste your time at Pizza Hut!

i was being silly re the overnight business, but, yes, i was a pest since i didn't sleep and that portable call button was soooooooooo nice for us all.

drunkemt the food is great at pizza hut, but like i said, its just everywhere here, and going so far, i felt trying polish food would be more the order of the day.

i can hardly wait to hear everyone's story!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha Dunkempt, this had me laughing out loud. Not that you were in any discomfort, but the thought of your eyes turning yellow and the Austin Powers scene :)

I am going to refuse the catheter and hope for the best, if my eye's turn yellow then I will tell my Nigel to be prepared :)

Thanks again,
