Just wondering if any one has heard of them. My brother has Ms and we are trying to get some information on CCSVI. They have sent me an application and we are hoping to get the procedure ASAPas his condition is really deteriating. Some places it seems are booking into 2012 already.

Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Yes, they are booking for 2012,I'm on the list. Maybe the list will shorten a bit if US and Canada begin to offer the treatment locally. Hope.

Good luck.

If you are looking at AMEDS I dont think they have done any booking yet. In fact on their website ameds.pl it was announced just a few hours ago thet they would start booking in a few days. From the post I read from Marci they don't have a long waiting list.

Now, EUROMEDIC where most have gone for the procedure is out into 2012. Once AMEDS begins taking patients and shows they are capable then you MIGHT she the wait time shorten but I doubt it.

I cannot see this on AMEDS website, please post your info source.
My understanding is that AMEDS do not have a license to perform the tests or procedure at the current date (10May10). They hope to receive this soon and May 17th is mentioned as the end of phase three (getting the licence)
If anyone wants to go on on AMEDS waiting list, there is a online form to fill in and it is free to do this. AMEDS started taking reservations in mid Jan but have not stated how many people have registered so far, nor what their expected treatment rate will be.
Kind regards,
MarkW

Hi everybody,

I have pre- reconfirmed my interest in AMEDS about 2 weeks ago as they asked me to do so. They were supposed to contact me within 2 weeks and for now still nothing !!! I wait to see if something is happening ! I know that everything was suspended for about 10 days after the president died.

Im sorry Mark, it is actually on their FACEBOOK page. Go to AMEDS.PL, go to the bottom of their page and click on the FB icon. As far as prices and length of stay, they sent out a letter some time back with approx prices, etc...

If you need it I am sure someone has it, or you can go on FB and request Marcin send it to you. It appears that he is their PR or patient coordinater.

So to answer you: YES THIS IS AMEDS CENTRUM, YES THEY WILL BE SETTING APPTS VERY SOON. IF YOU ARE STILL UNSURE OF THIS PLEASE FOLLOW THE ABOVE INFO TO VERIFY.

Yes it appears they had some unforeseen delays. I honestly would rather go to EUROMEDIC( I think thats where Simka is) but if AMEDS is a lot sooner I just cant resist.

Liber8, the discovery of CCSVI and Liberation treatment were the works of a bright mind. But the Liberation treatment itself is with all honesty no rocket science. I trust AMEDS will do a good job; there is a lot at stake for them too.

I agree Asher. I am just concerned that they will find it during testing. I was curious if they have had raining etc. And yes it would be great to see people over there!

Good news is (?) I am on the AMEDS list, and got on very early, as I was hedging my bets. I am off to Euromedic early June, and will be withdrawing from all the lists I am on - once in Katowice - so the list will be shorter by one.

Try Dr. Sinan in Kuwait too. I don't think his list is overwhelmed yet. He and Doc. Sclafani are conferring, and there seems to be a mutual respect. (and we all respect Doc. Sclafani, I think) http://www.ccsvikuwait.com or http://www.drsinan.com. Dr. Sinan is doing procedures in Bahrain and Egypt for foreigners, and of course, all of Kuwait citizens with CCSVI (I don't think single-handedly!). The only codicil with Dr. Sinan is that he is not taking those in wheel chairs or bed-ridden, at this point.

Ameds posted on facebook today that preliminary dates are being handed out today (May 10th) but also that they plan to open a second clinic so wait times will be a little shorter. Good news.

YES!! Ameds did start. I have to admit, I had no idea they were opening another clinic. That's great. People that got in line late should benefit a lot from that.

I also signed on very early with AMEDs and get these random emails. but so far no actual procedures/patient stories, right? It's very hard to know from America what's to be trusted in Poland, except for what you can dig up on the internet. (Tons of good info on Dr. Simka, of course.)
