I filled out the registration form in late April and received an e-mail mid-May. The e-mail said I would be contacted soon. Soon is never soon enough. Congratulations for getting a date set. Tell us about the procedure and the facility/doctors you get to see - well on second thought tell us everything!!

I was offered July 28th. I had sent first email on Feb 21st.

I asked them to change it to Sept.

Everything was by email

Their email had July 28th for date. I asked for later date in Sept but no reply. It has only been 4 hours since I sent the reply.

No $$ were ever asked for or sent.

Just got a mail from AMEDS offering 17th of August...Alittle surprised as I first contacted them on 23rd Jan...I was expecting sooner , I spoke to Marcin and was told that I would be one of the first.
This kind of makes my decision for me , I already have an appointment in Glasgow on 18th August..assuming they can offer liberation and not just the scans... I do not want to be put on another waiting list for another 6 months !
Anyone else off to Glasgow ?? :?

EHClinic repy to me when I asked my screening is July I dont expect my treatment to follow 3/5 days thats me reading between the lines. Clear lines between EHC & paitent is not so straight forward at this time...

EHC - Their Procedures will NOT be offering stents untill research is completed.

Unfortunately our partner clinic in Edinburgh will not be able to start the procedure until august. this will create an initial back log of patients needing the procedure but we hope to clear this as soon as possible.

Im sure in time !! EHC will offer both screening/treatment back to back once their up & running.

I registered in January with AMEDS. I received a tentative date of July 9. The patient coordinator, Jaroslaw Troch, told me to not book any flight as this date is preliminary and subject to change.

Has anyone gone there yet and what was their experience?

I am assuming that they have their license now so that's why they are contacting patients with preliminary dates.

Is anyone aware of AMEDS offering stents if angioplasty fails?

I am sure that they are offering stents their pricing reflects there is a diffence in price between plasty and if stents are required.
