I am a few days away from putting a deposit on a Liberation trip to Cuba. However I am a little leery as there have been NO blog reports about the care receieved there for MS patients. Does anyone have any information on Liberation in Cuba, Dr Yohan, and a BC man Felix Markey who is organizing travel there for liberation. Just doing my background checks and there is not a whole lot of information... Please help!

I don't know if people there are allowed to have a blog. Anyway not too much people have a computer at home. Nevertheless, I have heard that the health system is quite good. Please, keep us informed.

Cuba was my second thought (immediately after India), before I heard of Simka, etc. I did some cursory research, and came up only with Mr. Markley - who wanted money to reveal the contacts. I love olive oil, but not oily characters. I cannot say what he his, but I didn't have a good feeling.

Cuba does have a first-rate medical system. I do not think that the lack of blog entries has much to do with censorship - if I went to Cuba and had treatment, I could not be censored. Further, the Cuban Ministry of Health would likely be glad to advertise and attract "hard currency".

Try Dr. Sinan in Kuwait. He is over-seeing treatments in Bahrain and Egypt. http://www.ccsvikuwait.com (English) or www.drsinan.com (Arabic).

You should be able to find something on Google about who you intend to deal with, and if not... You should be able to have some kind of contact with the doctor, or facility, before putting money down - in my view. Be careful. Ask for patient references, and check them out.
