i had tried montel williams a couple of times. got no response. second time i kinda reminded him that i would bet most of the people buying his book and blender were people with ms and we would really appreciate his assistance at getting this out there.--no response. but with his money and connections, who knows, he may have been treated already and done without stepping on the toes of big money people he is associated with. i was very disappointed because here is a guy that has ms, lets on he is all about helping people (but at the same time has also made a little money for himself) i've tried michele obama too. seems no one that is in the public eye has the guts to dare even question the legal drug lords and other groups that get rich off us. but, the more that contact these people the better. shame on the ones that could make a big impact and don't.

I, too sent Montel several emails (Dec. 2009) still no answer. I gave up on him, very disappointed. I watched his show even more when I found out he had/has MS and understood what we MSer are going through.
I aslo sent an email to Mrs. Obama(Jan. 2010) asking for help, still waiting for a reply.

Blossom!
Hey! hope you are feeling well.
Last time we talked about public radio exposure for CCSVI.
I have a friend that listens to Sirius radio, I do not have it and am not familiar with it.
But, she said she listens to Docor Radio all the time on Sirius. are you or is anyone else reading this familiar with it?
I have the link for it if anyone wants to call in?
tnanks
Rose ;)

hi rose2, no, i've never heard of that. i have only used our local discussion station. but, post the link, maybe some others will use it to get it out there. is it something local or nationwide or? there are way more people and dr.'s that do not know about ccsvi than do. and you rose2, keep improveing and stay well.

hi lumpc1, it would help so much if these people would step up. i'm so disgusted with them. i think terri garr wrote a book about her ms and i'll bet most were bought by people with ms-same with montel. i almost bought one of those blenders but now when it starts to come on i turn it off quick i can hardly stand to watch him. he went on oprah and yapped about his ms and how he fell and wanted to die etc. of course wasn't he promoting his book? if he would get on oprah and talk about ccsvi-something that can help all of us then maybe he'd be worth listening to.

I feel exactly the same. I change chanel whenever he comes on for whatever he's promoting. I cried and cried when he was on Oprah talking about how he wanted to die. I felt like, here is a star who understands how unbearable MS is, I was so inspired went out and bought two of his books...what a mistake!!
I understand, he may have a contract with the pharmas and is not allowed to talk about CCSVI. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt.
As for Mrs. Obama, isn't her husband the President?
Maybe she feels helpless, because I'm Canadian. I just asked her to acknowledge CCSVI for her country and her dad who died from complications of MS.

Maybe a good old fashion BOOK BURNING will get thier attention and that of the press, you could have people all around the world put thier name and address on the cover, mail them in to one place and then have a bonfire. Hey they did it to school libraries in the 50s, just a thought.

Has anyone tried Ann Romney, wife of former governor and pres candidate Mitt Romney? She has MS and may be more accessable than Michelle Obama. Her husband attended Stanford. She is also involved in charity programs for children. Perhaps she might be interested in raising awareness for the studies involving our kids with MS? (It probably wouldn't hurt to mention that Michelle Obama has not responded to our request.)

basically, people like you and i have been getting the word out there the best we can. the people on this site amaze me, the diversity, the intelligence and determination. the ones that have been fortunate enough that they or someone they love has already been liberated and they still care enough to post info. and try to help all of us. i am so grateful for this site and the other sites forming. it shows me that just because we are sick, some worse than others, WE ARE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH. people like montel and the others i'm sure are way more wealthy than most of us. if they are tied in with the drug co.'s or whatever how rich do they have to be? is there a $ sign on doing WHAT IS RIGHT to these people? looks that way, we all need money to live in this world. but, i'm not willing to sell my soul for money. if they are it is on them. all we can do is keep plugging away, use the radio, keep trying to contact people that we feel can help, donate to research centers that are already on board with ccsvi. each one of us can do something. but i am getting to the end of the trail so to say like many others. i'm afraid, i'm mad, i've got lots of emotion going on here. things have got to go faster. i have an idea, i'm gonna post it so if someone doesn't read this. nothing ventured nothing gained. (I LIKE THE BOOK BURNING IDEA) LUMPC1-- not trying to steal your idea but let me see what you think and the others-check out the next post about oprah

I've sent an email to Oprah(Feb. 2010) again no reply. She doesn't do many shows on MS. I love Oprah but, I don't think she ever did a show on MS except the one with Montel.

I think the plain truth is this the pharma owns the USA, all our reps have taken big money from them on both sides. the Republicans are the reps of the corp's, Bush/Chaney & co. used 9/11 to cinch it, read Jim Hightower to get the real perspective on this. The best thing about our country is the people, once they get the truth, which is hard to come by these days things get done. the point being Oprah, Dr. Oz, and probably the rest of the people that could influence this are fooled by the information trickle. the young kids coming up are going to get it and it will be ugly. it does not have to be our system does work if we can keep the big money out of it, almost impossible. my life is about over so?
